Graduate or Diploma from a recognized Institute or an university. An entrance test is required. NMC accepts CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA and GMAT scores. Students without entrance scores may take NIM's common entrance test (NIMET). 15% seats reserved for Management Quota. Application form is available with this prospectus. The students are required to fill all the details in the application form courier it to the campus office or to any of the regional centers of the institute along with a bank draft of Rs. 700/- in favour of "National Institute of Management", payable at Mumbai.

National Institute of Management's common Entrance Test is based upon written test and interview. NIM admission test NIMET, which will be of 3 hours duration is based on GMAT format with multiple choice question and tests the applicants abilities in quantitative techniques, data adequacy, vocabulary, written skills, analytical reasoning and reading, comprehension. NIMET test date and other schedules will be announced by the respective centers. THe candidates should prepare themselves appropriately to pass the test so as to qualify for the admission in this program.
